LAKE Albert and Wagga RSL will both be chasing win number one when they meet at Wagga Cricket Ground on Saturday.

Lake Albert have been in winning positions in both of the opening two matches only to let opportunities, against Wagga City and South Wagga, slip.

Lake Albert captain Rob Nicoll believes things are just about to turn for the Bulls.

“In all honesty, we could be two (wins) and zip (losses) but it’s the other way around,” Nicoll said.

“I’m not too worried, we’ve just got to put it all together.”

While confident, Nicoll acknowledged Saturday’s clash as being most important.

“These are the games we must win,” he said.

“We don’t want to be 0-3 to start the year, you can still make up ground but you want a win in your first three.

“We’re confident this weekend we can get the job done.”

Lake Albert will take in an unchanged line-up on Saturday, while Matt Parsell and Ben Willis come in for Tim Cameron and Henry Standley for Wagga RSL.
