Stephen is a gardening expert, author, formerGardening Australiatelevision program presenter and owner of the Dicksonia Rare Plants Nursery in Mount Macedon.

He has been awarded a John Pascoe Fawkner Gold Medal for distinguished service to horticulture by the Royal Horticultural Society of Victoria.

The event will begin with a presentation and Q&A session with Stephen, followed by information sessions in the community garden.

These include a ‘Renew Your Vegie Patch’ workshop with sustainability expert Mariette Tuohey (bookings apply), as well as exert advice on watering systems, tanks, habitat gardening and vegie gardening.

“What we’re hoping to achieve is to not only give people lots of actual advice, but to give them permission to garden in their own style and way,” Stephen explained.

“Gardening is supposed to be a fun, leisure-time pursuit.”

Western Water is sponsoring the event, which will be held at the Gisborne Church of Christ and next door’s New Gisborne Community Garden, at 10am on Saturday, October 24.

The event is free, but bookings are essential. They can be made via the website, WesternWater苏州美甲美睫培训学校419论坛
