Captain/coach Mahesh Padmanabhan maintained his position as the Giants key contributor, finishing one assist short of a triple-double.

Padmanabhan was in a workmanlike mood throughout the game and was well rewarded with a personal haul of 30 points, 10 boards and 9 assists.

Egange Ayuk was also impressive, finishing with 25 points and 11 boards, ahead of Garang Dau 22 points and 24 boards and Greg Campbell with 16 points and 12 boards.

The Parramatta Wildcats crushed Manly Warringah’s Northside Breakers 109-84 in yet another powerful all-round performance, whilst the all-conquering Sydney City Cobras out-lasted the West Sydney Royals for a 114-98 win.

The Giants may need all hands on deckthis Saturday, when they face the Royals at6.30pm.
