Eyes on the ball: Pomonal’s Lee Oliver watches the ball onto his bat during his innings.

Despite being early stages in the season both team have a lot to play for with their perfect record on the line.

Concentration: Koby Stewart admires his delivery during Youth Club’s win over Pomonal last weekend.

Swifts Great Western are yet to be challenged this season with comfortable wins over Halls Gap and St Andrews in the opening two rounds.

Youth Club had some work to do last week after Pomonal set a good score of 146.

In terms of their batting line up Youth Club have had one or more players fire in each round, but they will be wanting to find some consistency in their line up against the Combine.

The Combine have been in a similar position with Travis Nicholson shining in round one and Tom Eckel saving the day in round two.

Steve LeGassick has been the best of the bwolers for the Clubbers and will look to continue his good form while Swifts Great Western’s Marc Brilliant is coming off figures of 2/15 off eight overs.

Either Chalambar or Halls Gap will chalk up their first win for the season in the top division.

Halls Gap have showed poor form in recent weeks, but a win tomorrow could turn their season around.

Halls Gap will need Sean Mantell and Damon Folkes to fire while Chalambar will rely on Brett Crone and the likes to get them across the line.

Tatyoon will most likely maintain their unbeaten season when they take on Aradale.

Tatyoon have started the season strongly and on the back of an impressive captains knock from Jarrrod Blandford they were too good for Aradale and no doubt St Andrews will have their work cut out.

Pomonal will sit this week out with a bye.
